This is a model of a Super Battle Droid that I modeled and textured in the course of a night, on March 29th 2023. I started by blocking out the model in Zbrush in order to replicate the organic shapes of the Droid, then transitioned to Blender where I switched my focus to nailing the hard-surface details. Once I was satisfied with the mesh, I brought it into Substance Painter to be textured, then lit and rendered the final results back in Blender. As demonstrated through the above pictures, I also played around with texturing and painting within Substance.
This was incredibly challenging given the uniquely organic and hard-surface designs on its body, but I am very happy with the end result.
