Made and animated in Blender.

In January of 2022, I was commissioned by the YouTube channel Kings & Generals to produce two 17-minute documentaries tackling ancient history. This is the second video, focused on the Bronze-Age Greek city of Mycenae.

I began production of this video in late June, and concluded in late August. After production on my previous video, Seven More Wonders of the Ancient World, I had a much easier time preparing and arranging 3D assets for this project. The only 3D models that were not made by me were the rocks, the foliage, the Mask of Agamemnon, and the fire burning shaders. Additionally, the music and voice over were provided by K&G. All other 3D models and animations pictured here were produced by me, using Blender.

Overall, this was an incredibly fun and challenging project to work on, and I’m incredibly happy with the end result. After this video, I amicably parted ways with Kings & Generals; I would’ve continued my work with them, had I not started grad school at the University of Connecticut in September 2022.
